Hi everybody, we are planning an upgrade for our Zimbra NE 9 server on CentOS 7 to the latest Zimbra NE 10.1.
Following this blog post: https://blog.zimbra.com/2024/06/upgrade ... zimbra-10/ since we want to dismiss CentOS 7, the best way to upgrade seems a rolling upgrade single-node. We have never performed a rolling upgrade before.
I read the documentation and now I have a question: as far as I understood, first step is to install a new server with the same version of the Zimbra server currently in use, so we have to install another Zimbra 9 server. If this is the case, we will need to install Zimbra 9 on Rocky 8, because Zimbra 9 for Rocky 9 is not available. This Rocky 8 server will be upgraded to Zimbra 10.1 and will become the new production server. The question is: we will end having Zimbra 10.1 on Rocky 8, there is no way to end with Zimbra 10.1 on Rocky 9 using rolling upgrade procedure?
Thanks!
