Overnight looks like we finally ticked over the 1GB size and had a redo log rotate and archive, so now I can see a redologs subfolder in the last incremental session. So I see what I think is a complete incremental now.
It looks like it didn't delete the archived log so must have just happened within that 60min window before the backup started at 1AM.
Still wondering if the earlier incr- that did not store any logs means those are just lost and its like having a blobless backup. I'm guessing yes. Will know for sure when I test the restore I guess.
