Indeed. It looks like Zimbra Chat functionality has been removed, removing also this line from webmail client code:

I patched the files you adressed, but the 'Chats' folder remains.
However patching Startup1_2_all.js.zgz and NewWindow_2_all.js.zgz with both lines removed the folder.
