I am not sure I understand the requirement completely but I list 2 that I have used in the past to wrap my head around disk space and requirements. I had a user with 15,000+ folders that I discovered as a result.

And I was playing around with stored procedures and this one reports messages, folders, and contacts total sizes... it would be easy to extend for other types such as tasks,etc.

The last one does have an equivalent that is much slower: show-user-counts-mysql.sh if looking for a less invasive tool.
