Administrators • Incoming Emails Not Working After Accidental Removal of Zimbra-MTA

I am facing an issue with our Zimbra mail server after accidentally installing Postfix on our Ubuntu VM. During the installation, the following Zimbra packages were unintentionally removed:

zimbra-mta
zimbra-mta-patch

As a result, our mail server is currently unable to receive incoming emails, while outgoing emails are functioning properly.
Steps Taken:

Installed Postfix (which removed the Zimbra MTA components).
Verified that outgoing emails are working fine.
Confirmed that incoming emails are not being received and mail queues are giving error.
I tried to reinstall the zimbra-MTA using ./install.sh, it asked for upgrade but during the process i got error and stuck.

System Details:

Zimbra Version: Release 8.8.15.GA.4179.UBUNTU20.64 UBUNTU20_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.15_P40.
OS: Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS
Hostname: smtp.ducatus.net

Assistance Required:

Steps to properly reinstall zimbra-mta and zimbra-mta-patch without affecting the existing configuration and mail data.
Any necessary post-installation configurations to restore full mail functionality.
